Welcome to Sinclair Community College Continuing Education. Sinclair Community College has been providing national-class education since 1979. As an institution of higher education with a long history of nursing and allied health education, we provide quality, professionally approved, affordably-priced Web-based continuing education modules that can be completed anytime and from anyplace 24-hours per day and 7-days per week.

What types of programs are offered? Radiologic Technology was the first program to be offered though Sinclair's Web-based continuing professional education program through formal partnership with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). An Online CE program is also available for health care professionals whose work involves kidney dialysis and nephrology and is made possible through formal partnership with the National Association of Nephrology Technicians and Technologists (NANT). The newest program is for registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. These courses can be taken for continuing education credit or could form the core curriculum for an RN Reentry Program.

Sinclair Community College (OH-101/7-1-09) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Are Online CE courses (modules) professionally approved for CE credit? All CE courses (modules) offered through Sinclair Community College's Online CE programs are provided and recognized through the appropriate agency in each professional discipline. Certificates of completion that verify credit attainment are immediately sent, via email, to the Online CE registrant upon successful completion of a module. Registered Online CE users are provided permanent and private CE accounts through Sinclair's Online CE Web site. Each secure CE account displays a personalized CE transcript listing all registered and completed online CE courses.

What is the faculty (author) experience? All modules have been developed by higher education faculty or qualified practitioners. Each author has extensive academic and professional experience and qualifications. Most are very active in their practice community, taking leadership roles in local, state and national professional societies.

How does the payment system work? Course fees are posted and are variable per approved course credit. The regular course registration fee is $15/CE credit. Discounted fees (25%) are awarded to ASRT and NANT members. Regardless of membership status, individual users conveniently pay by credit card through Sinclair's secure online payment process directly through the course registration process on the CE site. Significantly discounted registration fees are provided with prepaid institutional accounts established by employers who wish to supply prepaid Online CE courses for employees.
